The Human Rights Academy is pleased to announce the sixth edition of the traditional annual summer school on "Security and Human Rights: Navigating Freedom in a World of Polycrisis" This comprehensive program, to be held in Mardin, Türkiye from 8-12 June 2026, aims to explore the critical intersection between security and human rights.

We aim to delve into the critical intersection between security and human rights by analyzing the evolving challenges faced by the world.


In today's dynamic landscape, understanding the complex relationship between security and human rights is more crucial than ever. This education offers a unique platform for students, academics, professionals, and human rights advocates to deepen their comprehension of this crucial interface and contribute to advancing knowledge and practice in this field.

Applications for the program are open until April 9th, 2026, via the form on humanrightsacademy.info.

Accepted participants will receive accommodation and meals during the summer school. Only travel costs are expected to be covered by participants. Course itself is free of charge.
